This would be a nice series to catch our breath and get back on track here. If the last 10 games have taught us anything, it's that we probably need to scale back our expectations a bit.
The young guys on the team are showing their inexperience – well the pitching portion, for sure. The veteran pieces are showing what they seem to always show us: Twins management has a hell of a time catching lightning in a bottle.
I expect a good outing from Scott Baker. He's gathering steam going into his 3rd performance since coming off the DL. And he was solid against Milwaukee last year: 8.1 IP 6H 2R 2ER 2HR 0BB 5K
I just hope there's some pitching inside and a lot of keeping the ball down. Milwaukee has been crushing the ball lately.
Damn. Looked good for a sweep there. Unfortunately one bad pitch and an inept offense kept us from getting back to .500 and gaining another game on Chicago.
How about Slowey raking on Saturday?? Awesome.
